Referred to as “the Tumblr of the 19th-century,” commonplace books were used to jot down quotes, poems, literature excerpts, sketches, and any other pieces of works that a person found interesting and/or could connect to themselves. This particular online commonplace book records such items as are from the Victorian era and that can be found to connect to my thoughts, life, or the class works in some way.
